At a meeting of the Committee on International Trade, Joe Higgins MEP questions the EU Commission on its trade agreements with the ACP (African, Caribbean and Pacific) countries
and the negative impact of these agreements on the living standards of ordinary people. Joe also raises why a country like Columbia, which engages in repression against workers and trade unions, is given preferential trade agreements. (01-06-10)
