This Sunday (24^th May), Dublin European Election Candidate, Joe Higgins, will be hosting an open Q&A session for bloggers – a chance for them to get to know Joe, his ideas and campaign. The event will take place in a quiet meeting room in the IFI in Temple Bar, starting at 5pm, and all bloggers are invited.

For non bloggers who want to ask Joe a question, or bloggers who simply can’t get along, the event will be video streamed live online through this site, using UStream. This will hopefully give people throughout Dublin the chance to directly ask him questions. 

The event aims to engage with the online community, and with the thousands of people who normally don’t get a chance to question or talk to the candidates.

The live video streaming will be done through Joe Higgins’ UStream account (http://www.ustream.tv/votejoehiggins) and clips from it will be made available afterwards on his YouTube account (www.youtube.com/votejoehiggins).  Questions can also be submitted via his Twitter account, http://twitter.com/votejoehiggins.

Bloggers are also encouraged to spread the word to there readers, to encourage them to submit questions. . This is our Party Political Broadcast – but rather than being simply one way, it is a discussion with the electorate. The video can be embedded anywhere, simply copy this code:
